Tp-Link Routers
If you received a TP-Link Router. Your Wi-Fi name and/or password can be easily changed by following these steps:
To change your Wi-Fi name & password:
Connect your computer or mobile device to your Netcrawler Wi-Fi network.
Once connected, open a web browser and type in http://tplinkwifi.net.
Enter the password below and click on “Login”. Password: netcrawler22
Once logged in, click on the "Wireless" tab on the left of the page.
Here, you can change the Wireless Network Name (SSID) & password. Click on Save.
Reconnect your computer or mobile device to your Netcrawler Wi-Fi network by selecting the new network name you have set and entering your current password.
Wait for your router to apply the changes, which may take a few minutes. Once done, your Wi-Fi network will have a new name and/or password.
Technicolor CGA 4234
If you received a Technicolor CGA4234. Your Wi-Fi name and/or password can be easily changed by following these steps:
1. Navigate to the Modem's Web Interface:
Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.0.1/
2. Log In:
By default, leave both fields blank.
Click the > arrow to continue.
3. Access Wireless Settings
Click on Wireless at the very top of the menu
Click on General on the sub menu (if not already selected)
4. Configure 2.4GHz Network:
Enter your desired wireless network name under 2.4GHz Wireless Network.
Change the password to your preferred one.
Click show password to ensure you’ve entered the right password
5. Configure 5GHz Network:
Scroll down or navigate to the 5GHz Wireless Network section.
Choose your preferred wireless network name. It's recommended to use a different name than your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
Click show password to ensure you’ve entered the right password
Note: Use the 5G network for newer, faster devices, and the 2.4G network for older devices that can't connect to 5G.
6. Save Settings:
Ensure that all changes are saved to apply the new settings.
